Four of female faculty members and students were featured on Mashable in an article titled "4 inspiring women shaping the future of the STEM workforce." Professors Megan Leftwich (MAE) and Zoe Szajnfarber (EMSE) discussed their research and experience of being women amongst mostly male faculty. Graduate students Bharathi Balasubramanian (EMSE) and Yulia Kushner (CS) were also featured to provide their perspective on joining fields in which they are starting to see progress in the gender balance.
