The GW School of Engineering & Applied Science (SEAS) promotes international collaboration and encourages alumni of international institutions to apply for a graduate program at GW SEAS through the Preferred International Partnership Program. This program is designed for motivated students who have earned a bachelor’s degree from a partner institution within five years preceding or in the year following their application to a SEAS graduate program.
Students from preferred partner institutions will receive the following benefits:
Students from preferred partner institutions are required to apply by completing and submitting GW’s standard graduate student application and supporting documents. Fee waivers are available by emailing [email protected]. For information regarding MS program admissions requirements visit the following website: graduate.seas.gwu.edu/ms-admissions-requirements
Preferred partner institutions are expected to advertise and promote GW SEAS graduate programs to their current students and assist with facilitating in person and/or online information sessions throughout the year.
Subject to available funding, GW SEAS will consider providing financial support to encourage faculty collaboration between GW SEAS and preferred partner institutions in the form of guest faculty lectures or potential short-term training opportunities.
Students from both the Vellore and Chennai campuses are eligible for this partnership program.
Prior to submitting the online application for an on-campus graduate level program at GW SEAS, applicants are directed to pay the application fee or submit an application fee waiver. Select the "application fee waiver" option and in the text box please type "Application fee waiver for preferred international partner institution applicant" and submit the request. You will receive a follow up email from SEAS Office of Graduate Admissions & Student Services after we have processed your application fee waiver and you can continue the process of submitting your application. Please contact [email protected] with any questions regarding this process.
University administrators or faculty of prospective partner institutions are encouraged to reach out to Ms. Brittany Wright, Director Graduate Enrollment Management & Advising, at [email protected].
