The School of Engineering and Applied Science at GW (SEAS) now has a partnership with the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, on a new accelerated "4+1" master's program.
The program allows for current undergraduate students at Bahcesehir University majoring in various engineering and computer science disciplines to "double count" courses and apply them toward a master's program at SEAS. This allows students to complete a master's degree within one calendar year, rather than the average duration of two years.
Bahcesehir University is the fourth institution to join SEAS' international partnership in 4+1 master's programs. Others include North South University (Bangladesh), University of Ilorin (Nigeria), and Vellore Institute of Technology (India).
