As of Fall 2016, SEAS will partner with SRM University in Chennai, India, on an accelerated master's program (commonly known as "4+1" programs) for SRM undergraduate students. Through this program, undergraduates studying Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechantronics, or Nanotechnology at SRM University can receive a master's degree from GW in one calendar year (as opposed to the two years normally required for full-time master's students).

SRM University is the latest institution to join the growing list of SEAS' international partners. The current list includes Bahcesehir University (Turkey), North South University (Bangladesh), University of Ilorin (Nigeria), and Vellore Institute of Technology (India).
