On Wednesday, September 9, Professor Ahmed Louri, chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was installed as the David and Marilyn Karlgaard Professor, the first faculty member to do so. Although Louri arrived at SEAS only this past August, his world-renowned expertise in computer architecture led David Karlgaard, an alumnus and former faculty member of SEAS, to bequeath him the endowed professorship.
